Who we are
MetaWise BnB, ABN 47 145 826 339, of Level 11, 65 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000. We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect through this site
If you complete the rental estimate form we collect your name, email address, phone number, the address of the property — a suburb, or the full street address if you give us one — its type and number of bedrooms, your answers about your current situation and timing, and anything you choose to write in the message field. We also record which campaign brought you here, where one applies.
We ask for the full address because a short-stay estimate is a local question: the comparable properties we look at are the ones close to yours. We use it to find those comparables and to prepare your report. We do not publish your address, we do not attach it to anything a third party sees, and a suburb on its own is always enough to get an estimate.
We ask you not to send keys, alarm codes, lockbox details or anything else about physical access to a property through this form.
What we use it for
To prepare and discuss your rental estimate, and to contact you about managing your property. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell your details, we do not share them with third parties for their own marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.
Where it goes
Into the MetaWise customer system, which is hosted on infrastructure operated by our technology providers and accessible only to MetaWise staff who need it. A copy of your enquiry is also emailed to us so that it is not missed, using an email delivery provider. This website is hosted with a cloud provider that may process server logs outside Australia.
Analytics
Where analytics is enabled we measure how the site is used: pages viewed, whether the estimate form was started and completed, and the type and size of property enquired about. Your name, email address, phone number and property address are never sent to analytics. IP addresses are anonymised.
We use two tools for this. Google Analytics measures how visitors move through the site. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views and visits; it sets no cookies and creates no cross-site identifier. Neither receives anything you type into the estimate form.
How long we keep it
For as long as we need it to answer your enquiry and to meet our record-keeping obligations as a licensed real-estate business, and then no longer.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@metawiseproperty.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a privacy matter you can refer it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
