Owner results

This industry is full of percentages with nothing behind them. Before we publish an owner result on this site, four things have to be true. If they are not, we do not publish the result at all.

• The owner has approved it in writing

  The owner also approves how much of the property and its location we identify. We never publish anything about an owner or an address on assumption.

• The figures say where they came from

  Each figure is labelled either owner-reported and rounded, or reconciled from a statement. We state the period covered, and we never take one good month and multiply it by twelve.

• Gross and net are labelled

  Every figure states what it is and what has been deducted from it. We never present a booking total as income.

• The comparison basis is stated

  If we compare a result against a previous manager or a long-term lease, we state the period and the basis. If we cannot state them, we do not make the comparison.
